    Technical Sales Manager (North & West Africa)


    Ingredion is hiring a Technical Sales Manager to manage sales activities and accelerate sales in North Africa and West Africa to exceed our annual and strategic plans. The Technical Sales Manager will manage an existing portfolio of customers and distributors as well as uncover and develop new business opportunities in Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Senegal, the Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mali, Niger and Cameroun.


    As a Technical Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    • Apply financial and business analysis tools to create value for customers and Ingredion.
    • Demonstrate the value of our products and identify new product innovation opportunities to drive business growth within the territory.
    • Identify and explore new application and market segments for future growth.
    • Create value based solutions based on customer needs by applying a deep understanding of consumer trends, customer needs and Ingredion strategy to develop value based selling proposals for existing customers and prospects
    • Deliver effective price negotiations to secure the business and meet profitability objectives.
    • Work closely with technical service, customer service, business development & marketing to serve customers and deliver customer growth projects.
    • Advise customers on Ingredion range of products and applications.
    • Develop an effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders both external and internal to deliver business objectives short, medium and long term.

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • Solid commercial /sales experience in business to business sales preferably Food industry
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
    • Passionate about sales and account management
    • Understanding of food processes and formulations.
    • A degree preferably in food science and technology or related discipline or equivalent
    • Fluency in French and English. Arabic language will be an added advantage.
    • History of business growth success e.g. acquiring new customers
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and numeracy skills
