    Ingredion is hiring a Technical Sales Account Manager, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare & Industrial to accelerate sales in our Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Industrial business units EMEA to exceed our annual and strategic plans – this includes managing an existing portfolio of accounts and uncovering and developing new business opportunities in the sectors.

     

    As a Technical Sales Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    • Accelerating business growth for the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare & Industrial business by delivering annual sales volume and value
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with frequent contact, leveraging Ingredion’s expertise and services to bring value to customers.
    • Develop new technical solutions to improve existing products and manufacturing processes.
    • Conduct technical lab trials and scaling-up products to translate into new concepts for the market and explain these products to new and existing customers.
    • Uncover, develop & deliver high profile customer projects, resulting in new business.

     

    The Technical Sales Account Manager position is well-suited if you:

    • Anticipate customer needs and proactively create new solutions that exceed customer expectations

    Qualified candidates will have:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree or Master´s degree in a relevant discipline
    • Technical sales experience in a business to business environment preferably in industrial, pharmaceutical or chemical industry
    • Strong technical skills e.g. pharmaceutical engineer or specialised chemical engineer background
    • Excellent negotiation skills, communication and presentation skills
    • The ability to understand, sell and capture value
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving & numeracy skills
    • Good business and commercial acumen
