Job Title:                  Specifications Administrator


Position Location:    Manchester


Reports to:               Senior Specialist Product Quality Assurance


Primary Function


As a member of the European Quality organisation, administer and complete customer Quality documentation requests and in particular specification agreements.


Key Deliverables

  • Complete customer Quality documentation, including specifications accurately and in a timely manner, in order to meet customer expectations and KPI's for the area.
  • Analyse and review priorities on a daily basis.
  • Maintain systems for administration, storage and retrieval of customer specification agreements.
  • Monitor, track and provide reports on key metrics.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers to facilitate negotiation and discussions on product documentation.
  • Track site certification information on the company extranet and ensure this is current.
  • Ensure good inter-departmental working relationships to support colleagues in providing a consistent response to customers.

Qualification, Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • HND or Degree in a science based subject, preferably in Food Science/Technology, Life Science or Chemistry.
  • Experience in food manufacturing operations (Quality or Technical Role).
  • Experience with customer contact and specification agreements.
  • Good computer skills and ability to work with databases.
