Quality Assurance Supervisor (Raw Materials)

Primary Function:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor (Raw Materials) plays a key role in ensuring that the Quality Management System and Food Safety System are established, implemented and maintained which will complementary to corporate policies, international standards for product quality and food safety.

Reports To: 

Plant QA Manager

Major responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the effective operation of a quality management and food safety system
  • Coordinate among the steering committee, working parties and consultant to establish and maintain an internal quality audit program to covers all processes, locations and personnel directly affecting quality and quality management system , food safety activities
  • Manage and evaluation the supplier and customer, third party audit
  • Support the activities and goals that related to company goals
  • Implement and develop the effective operation of a quality management system, food safety system and new requirement
  • Encourages all employees have awareness on quality management, food safety system and customers’ requirements
  • Provide and development the raw material specification and raw material receiving procedure to coordinate purchase and production
  • Training, supervision and advice for all employees to follows quality management, food safety system and working ability continuous improvement
  • Training and competency program for QA Officers, Senior Raw Material Quality Control Staff, Raw Material Quality Control Staff

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science, Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Biology, Food Science or Food Technology, or equivalent
  • Experienced in a QA/QC function of manufacturing in the level of supervisor or higher at 2 years minimum
  • Strong knowledge in Quality Management System and Food Safety System
  • Have knowledge or experience about food or starch industry will be advantaged
  • Have knowledge or experience working with quality management systems, i.e. Food safety, GMP, HACCP, FSSC22000, ISO9000 and ISO17025
  • Ability to communicate in English both written and spoken
  • Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with staff, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
